Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 2026
These terms apply whenever you book work with Palmer's Exterior Cleaning ("we", "us", "our"), a mobile exterior cleaning business based in Great Wyrley, Staffordshire, covering the wider West Midlands. By asking us to carry out work, you're agreeing to these terms.
Quotes
Quotes are free and given without obligation, based on the description and photos you provide us with. Once we've given you a price and you've accepted it, that's what you'll pay — we won't come back afterwards and ask for more, even if it turns out we quoted the job too low.
No deposit
We don't require a deposit to book a job. Payment is due on completion of the work, unless we've agreed something different with you in writing beforehand.
Access and preparation
To carry out the work, we'll usually need reasonable access to the area being cleaned, and in some cases a nearby outdoor water tap or power point. If access isn't available on the day and we're unable to complete the job as a result, we'll get in touch to rearrange a time that works.
Please move or point out any fragile, valuable, or loose items in the work area beforehand. We take reasonable care around plants, ornaments, and vehicles, but ask that anything especially delicate is moved out of the way before we arrive.
Weather
Some jobs can't safely or effectively be carried out in poor weather (heavy rain, frost, or high winds, for example). If we need to reschedule because of the weather, we'll let you know as early as we can and agree a new date — there's no charge for a weather-related reschedule.
Cancellations
We ask for as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, so we can offer that slot to someone else.
Condition of surfaces and pre-existing damage
We use the method and pressure appropriate to each surface, and carry public liability insurance for our work. That said, exterior surfaces can have pre-existing issues — loose pointing, cracked tiles, worn sealant, old stains that won't fully lift, and similar — that aren't caused by our cleaning but may become more visible once dirt and growth are removed. We'll flag anything we notice before starting where we reasonably can, but we can't be held responsible for pre-existing wear or damage that predates our visit.
If something goes wrong
If you're not happy with the standard of work, get in touch within 48 hours of the job and we'll come back to put it right at no extra cost, wherever reasonably possible. We want every job to be one you'd leave a good review for.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continuing to book work with us after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
